A new series that explores motion, atmosphere, and how images emerge through layers of paint. Using an aerograph, I’m focusing on depth, texture, and the unpredictability of the air as the rechargable battery slowly dies.

Themes of desolation, destruction, battle, and lost religion run through these works: fragments of conflict and belief, the tension between ruin and reverence. I’m still experimenting, still working out how these ideas take shape through form and surface. There’s a constant sense of erosion—of landscapes, structures, and ideals—set against the question of what, if anything, lasts.

The red-sepia palette evokes sun-faded ‘80s film, casting destruction in a strange, nostalgic glow. I'm currently trying to get my VHS player to work.
